Title: Billy Griffin - Like Water
Description: This Track is for the Luv in my Life..My Wife...Donna XX....
A Brief Biography of Billy Griffin"
Billy Griffin is a producer, vocal arranger and singer who, as the lead vocalist of the Miracles in the 1970's gave the group a second unprecedented popularity following the departure of Smokey Robinson. In modern day pop history this is an unparalleled feat.
The Miracles, featuring Billy Griffin, scored two instant gold 45's, a platinum single, one gold album and one platinum LP. The soul opera "City Of Angels" which contained the world-renowned classic favorite; "Love Machine" was written and performed by lead singer, lyricist and composer Billy Griffin.
After leaving the Miracles in the early 1980's Billy went on to record three solo albums for Columbia Records (now Sony Entertainment), establishing himself as an international star in London. With the success of the English top twenty hit "Hold Me Tighter In The Rain" Billy earned the English "Silver Record Award" comparable to the coveted Gold Record here in the United States. In 1990, Billy co-produced fifty-two Motown artists along with English producer Ian Levine in response to an overwhelming outcry from Motown fans across the globe to revisit the days of their childhood (the 60's and 70's). Their collaborative work in a "reunion" series of videos, LPs and CDs featuring The Originals, The Fantastic 4, Lamont Dozier, Edwin Starr and The Supremes for the European dance market was a historic event unlikely to ever be repeated again.
This partnership later resulted in Ian & Billy's coming together to produce the "boy band" Take That and score the group's first worldwide hit "I Found Heaven" sung by Superstar, then lead singer, Robbie Williams written by Billy & Ian. Later that year the duo hit pay dirt again with their production of The Pasadena's Silver Record "I'm Doing Fine Now."
Billy later teamed with jazz saxophonist Gerald Albright for his long awaited debut album, while simultaneously guest-starring on the debut solo project of Japanese jazz drummer Akira Jimbo of Cassiopea. Both of these records resulted in instant chart-topping success for the two talented rookies. This was certainly a fun departure from the R&B competitive world Billy was used to. The smooth collaboration with Jimbo also resulted in a Gold Album and introduced Akira to the American Smooth jazz market. Billy's rendition of "Olivia" placed Akira's album at the top of the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart for four exciting weeks.
Over the past 3 years Billy's music was heard in such films as "Chicken Run", "BAPS" "Donnie Brasco", "BeBe's Kids", as well as FOX TV's"Alley Mcbeal & NBC's "Friends". Billy is currently in Sweden developing projects for his multi-media company Blitz Inc. Billy is thrilled to be bringing his first original album in over 10 years to his fans with the release of Billy Griffin 2005.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé is a handmade halo convertible made by Rolls-Royce that debuted at the 2007 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan, on January 7, 2007.[1] The platform is based on the 2003 Rolls-Royce Phantom and has styling heavily derived from the 100EX, a concept car unveiled to celebrate the company's centennial in 2004.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom is a British ultra-luxury saloon automobile made by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, in the United Kingdom. It was launched in 2003 and is the latest Rolls-Royce branded car. It has a 6.75 L, 48-valve, V12 engine that produces 453 hp. The engine is derived from BMW's existing V12 powerplant.
Rakim (pronounced Rah-Kem) (full name Rakim Allah, born William Michael Griffin Jr. on January 28, 1968 in Wyandanch, Long Island, New York) is a legendary rapper and pioneer of the musical genre of hip hop.
Eric B. & Rakim broke up in 1992 after releasing four albums. Due to legal wrangling over royalties and his contracts with both his record label and with Eric B, Rakim did not release a solo album for another five years. He signed with his good friend at the time DeShamus "Q=BOB" Sallis of Q=BOB Records but the label folded shortly after. He then returned in 1997 with The 18th Letter, which included collaborations with DJ Premier and Pete Rock; released in two versions, one of which included an Eric B. & Rakim greatest hits disc titled The Book of Life. The critical reception of the album was positive, and it was certified gold. In 1999, Rakim released The Master which received very good reviews as well.
Rakim was signed to Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment record label in 2000,[1] for work on an album tentatively titled Oh, My God. The album underwent numerous changes in artistic direction and personnel and was delayed several times. While working on the album, Rakim made guest appearances on numerous Aftermath projects, including the hit single "Addictive" by Truth Hurts, the Dr. Dre-produced "The Watcher Part 2" by Jay-Z, and Eminem's 8 Mile soundtrack. However, Rakim left the label in 2003 and Oh, My God was indefinitely shelved, a result of creative differences with Dr Dre.[2] Rakim signed with DreamWorks Records shortly afterward, but the label closed its doors shortly after that.
Eric B. and Rakim's classic album Paid In Full was named the greatest hip hop album of all time by MTV.
Many hip hop/rap artists (both underground and mainstream) acknowledge a huge debt to Rakim's innovative style. He is given credit for popularizing the heavy use of internal rhymes in hip-hop - rhymes that are not necessary to the overall rhyme scheme of the verse, but occur between the endpoints of lines and stanzas, serving to increase the alliteration, assonance, and emphasis of the rap. He is also credited for the jazzy, heavily stylistic, seemingly effortless delivery of his lyrical content.
Rakim pioneered a practice previously unknown to rap called "internal rhyming," already an important aspect of traditional poetry, where rhymes could be found throughout the bar of a lyric which added to the rhythmic complexity of the song:
" I keep the mic at Fahrenheit, freeze MCs, make 'em colder/The listeners system is kicking like solar/As I memorize, advertize like a poet/Keep it goin', when I'm flowin' smooth enough, you know it's rough "
Instead of two rhyming syllables within two lines at the end of the lines, as we would find in the older rap style displayed above, we have 18 rhyming syllables in just four lines. Rakim also introduced a lyrical technique known as "cliffhanging" and popularized the use of metaphors with multiple meanings. His songs were the first to really impart rap music lyrics with a serious poetic device sensibility. Eric B & Rakim went on to produce three more successful albums, all now considered hip hop standards.

Title: "Giving Youth A Chance" (English)
Description: This Public Service Announcement (PSA), created by Deema Shahin, of the Princess Basma Youth Resource Center/Queen Zein Al Sharaf Institute for Development, is targeted to youth in Amman, Jordan.
The screen is split into frames. On the left is a young person standing innocently. In the other frames appear three characters - a father, a teacher, and an executive. The father speaks first on the right side of the screen. He says, "Youth are not only expensive, but a lot of problems." On the left, the youth slaps a dollar bill on his forehead. The teacher then says, "Young people are a difficult equation. Very hard to understand." A marker hits the youth but he catches it. The executive next says, "They never deliver on deadline, and they think they know it all." The tone changes, and the youth peels the dollar bill from his forehead and smiles. He says, "Listen to me. Give me a chance. You will be surprised." The logo for Princess Basma Youth Resource Center appears appears, and tag line says, "We see beyond."
