Description: First off I'll explain what this is. 3 animes, 3 songs, 3 DDR Stages. I basically get tired of doing DDR AMVs and having then be so darn short, so I thought I'd smush 3 together like when you play DDR you get 3 stages. The first one, Gravitation - Nori Nori Nori, I am very pleased with ^__^ it's the best of the 3 I think and I put most effort into it. I tried to make the images move to the music and I picked the song because it talks about devoting life to music which I thought suited Shuichi ^__^ The second one, MoHS - End of the Century. At first I struggled to get the clips to go with the beat but then I discovered that the Hare Hare Yukai dance moves in time with the song so I used mostly that. I also shoved some reverse in there to make it seem less like I'm repeating myself. Although I regret that by the end I wasn't really thinking about what I was doing so it got a little messy. Number 3, Loveless - Sakura... was just shoved in there and done in about 2 hours so I don't expect you to like it. I'm disapointed in myself really because I was tired and should have left it till the morning but no I'm still up at 00:11 and still rearing to go. Damn I have college tomorrow! Description: Graduates, parents, families, friends, faculty and staff packed the Warden Arena on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 11, for the commencement ceremony of the College of Arts & Sciences, during which nearly 350 graduates received diplomas. For the first-time ever, the College hosted a live streaming video of the ceremony. More than 240 people in 20 countries viewed the live broadcast. Rollins President Lewis Duncan opened the ceremony and shared that most of these graduates started their Rollins careers in the first year of his presidency. "Together we weathered three hurricanes and got to know our new home in a very special way," Duncan said. "You went on to take part in the first Campus Movie Fest, the first Dance Marathon and were deeply involved in developing and implementing the Academic Honor Code. You reached out to children of Fern Creek Elementary, the homeless and the victims of Hurricane Katrina. You are indelibly a part of Rollins history." Dean of the Knowles Memorial Chapel Patrick Powers gave the invocation. Highlights of the ceremony included the presentation of Honorary Doctorates of Humane Letters to poet Billy Collins and Michael Winston, president of The Alfred Harcourt Foundation. In addition, Professor of Modern Languages and former Dean of the Hamilton Holt School Patricia Lancaster, Professor of Anthropology Pedro Pequeno and Professor of History Gary Williams were elevated to "Emeritus" status. Class of 2008 valedictorian, Joseph Patrick Kuhlman, who graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA, encouraged his fellow graduates to give back to the world and shared the words of Mother Teresa: "It is not the magnitude of our actions but the amount of love that is put into them that matters." Former U.S. Poet Laureate Billy Collins addressed the crowd. Collins has published eight collections of poetry. In 2001, he was appointed U.S. Poet Laureate, serving 2001-2003. In 2004, he was named New York State Poet Laureate, serving 2004-2006. Collins immediately endeared himself to the audience at the beginning of his keynote address by offering the guarantee that his speech would only last 11 minutes. "Like people who attend poetry readings, you need to be assured that this will be a finite experience," he said. Title: Pokemon Emerald Green Challenge ~ Vs Brendan (Battle 1)
Description: And here's another series of videos what where I play a Pokemons game and set some music to the important battles. Except this time things are gonna be a bit different. First off, and most obviously, I'm-a playin' as the girl. It's 'cause I don't ever do that. Her name is Verdie. Why that name? See the second point. When I played through Pokemon Crystal, I didn't really set a challenge for myself- I just played through and enjoyed it. This time around, though, I'm giving myself a challenge. So in honor of Pokemon Emerald, I can only use Pokemon that are the color green. Hence the name Verdie for the protagonist- it's derived from "verde," get it? Ha ha, anyways. My starter is Treecko, since Treecko is green. His name is Albert. Since this is the first trainer battle I don't really have much options besides "use Pound over and over until I win." So.. I do. BGM: "War in China" by Yoko Shimomura, from LIVE A LIVE.
