Title: Parrot 809 - J.B. Lenoir - Man Watch Your Woman
Description: Mississippi born bluesman J.B. Lenoir came to Chicago in the late 1940s eventually recording for J.O.B, Parrot, Chess and Checker. Many of his songs had a political slant, notably 'Eisenhower Blues' ('Ike is my shepherd, I am in want, he maketh me to lie on park benches'), unusual for the time. 'Eisenhower Blues', it is said, brought down an congressional. inquiry, resulting in Parrot making Lenoir re-record the song as 'Tax Paying Blues'. Other political recordings included 'Korea Blues' and, later in the 1960s, 'Alabama Blues', a contribution by Lenoir to the civil rights movement. 'Man Watch Your Woman' is, in my opinion, one of his best early releases.

Title: I feel so good - J.B. Lenoir - 1964
Description: Thanks to TROUBLEDWATER (http://www.youtube.com/user/TROUBLEWATER) J.B. Vincent Mehl
