Title: Boca JUNIORS (Arg) 4 x COLO COLO (Chi) 3 | LIBERTADORES 2008
Description: Music by Opeth. Soccer-Boca fight back to beat troubled Colo Colo 4-3. Titleholders Boca Juniors missed a penalty, had a player sent off but still managed to rally twice for a 4-3 win over Chilean champions Colo Colo in the Libertadores Cup on Thursday. After a troubled week in which the players boycotted Monday's practice in a bonus row and coach Claudio Borghi quit, Colo Colo found themselves a goal up and with a one-man advantage after only 25 minutes at Boca's Bombonera stadium. Borghi, who announced on Tuesday that he had resigned, was on the bench but confirmed afterwards that the match was the last of a two-and-a-half year reign in which his team won four successive Chilean titles. "There's no turning back, I'm going," he told reporters after the game in Buenos Aires. Boca's troubles began when defender Fabian Monzon was sent off in the 22nd minute for a wild two-footed challenge, and then Gustavo Biscayzacu put the visitors ahead three minutes later with a clinically-taken goal. In a breathtaking game played in a raucous atmosphere, Boca were awarded a penalty in the 28th minute but Martin Palermo, who famously missed three penalties for Argentina against Colombia at the Copa America in 1999, fired wide. Two minutes later Palermo atoned for the miss by heading home the equaliser. Colo Colo, who beat Boca 2-0 in Santiago last week, regained the lead with another Biscayzacu goal two minutes before half-time but Boca levelled again five minutes after the restart when Leandro Gracian slid the ball under Cristian Munoz. Rodrigo Palacio rounded Munoz to put Boca in front in the 66th minute and Neri Cardozo fired a fourth in the 89th for the Argentines after drifting past his marker and blasting a shot into the goal off the underside of the crossbar. Rodolfo Moya pulled one back for the visitors in injury time. The win took Boca level with Group Three leaders Atlas of Mexico on seven points, with Colo Colo a point behind in third. Uruguay's Danubio kept their faint hopes alive in Group Two by beating Ecuador's Deportivo Cuenca 2-0 in Montevideo with goals from Damian Malrrechaufe and Alejandro Lembo. Danubio remain bottom of the group with four points from five games but are only two behind Cuenca and Argentina's Lanus. Colombian provincial side Cucuta went four points clear at the top of Group Six after beating Guadalajara 1-0 with a 53rd minute goal from Argentine striker Matias Urbano. Cucuta have eight points while Guadalajara are bottom of the group with three.

Title: Tim Duncan Hits Three Pointer To Keep The Game Tied In OT
Description: READ!!!! Also, be sure to check out my other video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxe9gLZvsVE SAN ANTONIO (AP)—Tim Duncan saved the San Antonio Spurs with his first 3-pointer of the season at the end of overtime, and Manu Ginobili hit a layup at the end of the second extra period to send the defending champions past the Phoenix Suns, 117-115 on Saturday in Game 1 of their first-round series. The third-seeded Spurs celebrated almost as jubilantly as if they'd won the finals yet again after beating the sixth-seed Suns, their postseason nemesis. The teams will meet again in San Antonio on Tuesday night before the best-of-seven series shifts to Arizona. This first-round series, which would have been fitting as a Western Conference finals, was the most anticipated. So far at least, it has more than delivered. Duncan finished with 40 points and 15 rebounds. "I guess they're not going to go easy," Suns coach Mike D'Antoni said. Michael Finley sent the Spurs to overtime with a last-second 3 from the wing, tying the game at 93. The Suns had controlled play for the first three quarters, leading by as many as 16 points despite early foul trouble for Shaquille O'Neal. The Suns had a six-point lead with a quarter left in regulation. The Spurs took their first lead of the game late in the fourth quarter, but were down 93-90 with 1:10 to go after Leandro Barbosa's fast-break layup. With 15 seconds on the clock, Finley tied it at 93 for the Spurs. Two-time MVP Duncan stole the show in the first overtime. With his team down 104-101, Duncan found himself all alone at the 3-point line. After only a slight hesitation, he fired the ball and made it with 3 seconds to play. It was Duncan's first 3 of the season. He was 0-of-4 previously. "I didn't know what was going to happen, honestly," Duncan said. "Manu turned the corner, Shaq just totally leaves me and stayed with Manu." In the second overtime, Shaq's dunk tied it at 112 with 1:33 to play. Ginobili's layup made it 114-112 San Antonio. Steve Nash missed a key 3 from the corner with less than a minute to play. After a long and risky inbounds pass that crossed the width of the court to the Spurs' Brent Barry, the Suns fouled, and Barry sank one of two from the line to make it 115-112 Spurs. With 15 seconds on the clock, the Suns went to sharp shooter Nash, who fired another 3 from the corner, sinking it this time to tie the game at 115. Then Ginobili drove the lane against Raja Bell and got to the rim, as he often does, almost at will, and his layup fell with 1.8 seconds left for the win. "We had a lot of opportunities to win," O'Neal said. "You can't make mistakes against a team like that especially here in this building." Tony Parker added 26 points for the Spurs, and Ginobili had 24. Amare Stoudemire, who fouled out with 12 seconds left in the first overtime, led the Suns with 33 points. Nash had 25 points and 13 assists, O'Neal scored 11 points. The Suns and Spurs met last season in the second round in what many dubbed the real finals. San Antonio won in six tense and testy games on their way to a fourth NBA title. This year's rematch comes in the first round in the hyper-competitive Western Conference. Phoenix acquired O'Neal in a blockbuster midseason trade for a series such as this one to give the run-and-gun Suns a defensive boost. O'Neal played just under four minutes in the first quarter after picking up two quick fouls. He was on the court for just 24 seconds in the second quarter before picking up his third and sitting out the rest of the half. O'Neal missed two shots right off, the first when his dunk off an alley-oop pass missed. He didn't score in the first half. Even though Phoenix got O'Neal to help their half-court game, the Suns, who still like to play quick, had only nine fast break points in the game. The Spurs, on the other hand, were able to punish the Suns with their strong suit. They had a 72-46 advantage in the paint. The Spurs benefited early from O'Neal's absence, and Duncan scored 20 points in the first half on 7-of-9 shooting. But the rest of the Spurs weren't helping him much. They went a combined 7-of-28 in the first half. Ginobili in particular struggled early before turning it on late. He was 1-of-7 in the first half, when the Spurs, except for Duncan, weren't looking good. Ginobili finished 10-of-24 from the field.

Description: US B-Ball team and the world should come join discosean21 and this workout video,Two more until they start to count. "I think we're in pretty good shape defensively," forward Carmelo Anthony said. "Offensively we're tuning some things up. We've got two more games before the real deal starts." Bryant harassed longtime U.S. nemesis Sarunas Jasikevicius into a miserable night and helped the Americans roll to a 120-84 victory over Lithuania on Friday night. Jasikevicius was unstoppable in a win over the United States four years ago. So Bryant, who has made it a point to defend the opponent's best perimeter threat since joining the team last summer, blanketed him in the same manner as he did Phoenix guard Leandro Barbosa of Brazil in the Olympic qualifying tournament. "Kobe's our best defender, hands down," forward Carlos Boozer said. "And Kobe takes on the challenge of guarding their best perimeter player regardless of who it is, regardless if he's a point guard, 2, 3, 4, whatever it is." Wade scored 19 points, Dwight Howard had 17, and LeBron James 15 for the Americans, who raced to a big early lead, then pulled away again after Lithuania got within single digits early in the second half. Bryant finished with 13 points, nine during the big U.S. first quarter. Wade scored 20 points last week against Canada in his first action since March, when the Miami Heat shut him down so he could rest his surgically repaired knee. He punctuated his 7-of-9 night by going high to catch an alley-oop pass from Chris Paul and double-pump before throwing down the dunk. "He's back," Anthony said. "That's all I can say. He's back." The Americans, who shot 64 percent, swept two games here and leave Saturday for Shanghai, where they will play European champion Russia and Australia. They are averaging 118 points in exhibition play. Jasikevicius hit seven 3-pointers and scored 28 points in Lithuania's 94-90 victory over the United States during pool play four years ago, and apparently celebrated too much for one American's liking. So Bryant wasn't going to let that happen again. "He had a great game against us a few years ago, the U.S.A, and was real brash about it," Bryant said. "So it's my responsibility to bring it to him. "This is what I do," Bryant added. "I knew prior to it and they reminded me of it. So, sic the Doberman on him." Jasikevicius was just 2-of-8 from the field for nine points, with three turnovers. Rimantas Kaukenas led Lithuania with 17 points. The United States needed a quarter to warm up in its first two games, but was sharp right from the start this time. Howard had three consecutive baskets, James dunked twice, and the Americans were already up by double digits barely 2 1/2 minutes into the game. Minutes later, Bryant had two jumpers and a 3-pointer in a quick spurt that made it 24-5. Howard had 10 points, and Bryant added nine in the first 10 minutes, with the Americans opening a 31-15 lead. "We wanted to just set the tone defensively," Anthony said. "I think it started with Dwight early in the game. He got it going on the defensive end, which led over to the offensive end. Once he holds it down in the middle like that, we feed off of that." Lithuania kept the deficit in the teens from there, then opened the second half with a flurry of 3-pointers to make it a game. Jasikevicius had a rare open look and hit the final one to cut the U.S. lead to 61-52 with 7:10 remaining in the third quarter, but the Americans immediately blew it open again. Anthony, Howard and James combined for the next 12 U.S. points, everything coming from inside, to make it 73-55, and Lithuania was never close again. Every U.S. player scored. The United States rebounded from its loss in 2004 to beat Lithuania for the bronze medal. Jasikevicius also nearly led Lithuania to a stunning victory four years earlier in Sydney, missing a 3-pointer in the closing seconds of a semifinal game as the Americans held on for an 85-83 win. Bryant never gave him a chance to get going this time. The former Indiana and Golden State point guard found little room to dribble or shoot when Bryant was near him. He missed both shots and had a turnover in the first quarter and was still frustrated long after Bryant had checked out for good, screaming at the referee after throwing up an air ball on a 3 with about 4 1/2 minutes left. "Kobe locked him up. He got a couple of open shots throughout the course of the game, but when Kobe was on him, I don't think he scored," Boozer said. "I think he was actually a little tentative to shoot the ball when Kobe was on him." Lithuania plays Turkey here Saturday and opens the Olympics against defending gold medalist Argentina on Aug. 10.
