Video: brighton rockband
Title: brighton rockband
Description: rock band) is a generic name to describe a group of musicians specializing in a particular form of electronically amplified music. Deriving its name from the musical style which was its immediate progenitor, rock and roll, the type of music played by rock groups has its roots deeply steeped in both rock and roll, and its immediate forebear, rhythm and blues. In Britain of the early 1960s the term rock group was in universal use, but as psychedelia approached the name band came into vogue, typified by The Band. A rock group or band tends to have a heavy focus on certain instruments, principally electric guitar, bass guitar, and drums (prime examples of this are The Kinks, The Who, Cream, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, or more recently Nirvana), with keyboard instruments such as electronic organs being featured from the outset by groups such as Manfred Mann and The Animals. Later in the 1960s, rock bands such as The Who, Pink Floyd and Hawkwind experimented with electric organs and synthesizers. Other instruments deployed within the context of a rock band include the electric violin (as used by Curved Air, Dave Matthews Band or Yellowcard) and the flute (as played by Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull, among others).
Video: The Language of Love - Paul Korda
Title: The Language of Love - Paul Korda
Description: From Paul Korda's new CD "Seeds", an underblown production that shows that with a great song the music lives in your soul first and the video second! It features Paul's journey from his second birthday party to his sons Felix and Lewis growing up, his friends Chris Spedding who plays guitar on the track, PP Arnold, who recorded some of Paul's earliest songs, Sonja Kristina (Curved Air) who appeared with Paul in the original London cast of HAiR and their 2007 appearance at San Francisco's Summer of Love, as well as the Santa Ana cast of the show, along with HAiR producer Michael Butler, and Chicago guitarist Chris Pinnick who played with the Paul Korda Band at the Roxy in Los Angeles. The main reason for the songs being is the uniting power of Love, that lives in the creativity of all people, no matter what background or country they are from. Creative artists swear by it as being the fuel of all great creations, as this is.

Title: Digital Drawing: Motdit front image august 27th 2008
Description: That was drawn for my college's student newspaper. Had lots of fun with it and tried something new, smoothing the image's shading with chaotic little circles sort of like dithering in pixel art. I really like the effect, though it was pretty long to do. The music in the video is "Cheetah" by the band Curved Air, off the album "Phantasmagoria", which I like a lot.
Video: DIY - Mechanized Air Duct prototype
Title: DIY - Mechanized Air Duct prototype
Description: In this video, set to dramatic music, you can see us creating a prototype mechanized air duct. We took a piece of commercial duct; added a paint-can top, and attached foam to widen its circumference and a metal rod to pivot it inside the air duct. Next, we cut a semi-circle of foam (3/4 inch thick), cut that semi-circle into two quarter circle pieces, and cut a notch in the curved edge of each. This notch will act as a guide for a rubber band. These two pieces are attached on either side of the metal/foam piece, perpendicular to it. A small DC motor is connected to the top of the air duct, and a slat cut to allow a rubber band, connected to each lower end of the quarter circles, to pass through and over the motor shaft. For now, dabs of hot glue stop the movement at the correct places to allow for fully open and fully closed positions. Simply reverse the current applied to the motor to reverse the movement of the duct door. In the next version of this prototype, we will include a belt drive instead of a rubber band; other improvements to follow, as well. The boring beginning to this video is due to Bill Goodrich.
