From an acoustic "unplugged" concert of Genesis music by David Myers (extraordinary keyboard player from The Musical Box, where Martin also played for over 5 years), these are excerpts from "Blood On The Rooftops", featuring a beautiful piano interpretation of the Hackett classical guitar opening, and Phil's beautiful emotional vocals. One of the kids playing the drums is Phil's son, Simon, who can also be seen in the Batman shirt. Be sure to do a YouTube search on "Simon Collins" to hear some of his music. He is a chip off the ole block, and has done a remake of his father's Genesis song "Keep it Dark", which is fantastic.

It's mostly just for editing-purposes and to see what I can do with my editing skills but hell, you got to admit, the Cheshire Cat from the Disney movie of "Alice in Wonderland" *rocks* and so does this mind-blowingly awesome song from the band Genesis, prior the Peter Gabriel-era (I mean come on, Phil Collins with the band may of made a hell of a lot of great songs but so did Gabriel and his inventiveness in his music is definetly something to be admired). I'd like to thank lies112 and Krobsie for the video *and* audio material I used for this and I apologize to all you Genesis and Peter Gabriel fans (or fans of both) who are disappointed with the whole song not being here but just the first-half, I had no choice but to make the video like that because I can't figure out a way to make the synching still look authentic without re-using the same footage over and over again after that's finished but maybe when I work out a way, I'll try and make a *full* version of this video! Besides, I had so much fun making this anyway. xD Enjoy everybody! :D - Eric. (Also, I'm very sorry about that irritating watermark, I'm very low-tech and that's the only Video Converter service I know that I can understand and without that, this wouldn't me possible to me made. Description: Music Video for the Genesis song "Throwing It All Away" which was comprised from home video taken during the 1986 Invisible Touch Canadian leg of the tour with footage shot on location at the former Canadian National Exhibition Stadium in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The stadium shown in this video has since been rebuilt as the BMO Field and recently Genesis held the first ever concert there and had the honor of breaking "it in" so to speak :)
