Title: Venomous Concept's First Live Show
Description: VENOMOUS CONCEPT IS OUTLAW PUNK. That is the description from the band of what style they play. What exactly is outlaw punk?? Good question??
Venomous Concept is the brainchild of Shane Embury (Napalm Death, Lock Up), and Kevin Sharp (Brutal Truth). The idea was tossed around while Shane was in the states after touring Napalm Death’s “Order of the Leech” album. After the tour ended Shane visited some old friends. One of them was Kevin Sharp. The two discussed the idea of starting a band that had no rules, much like old school hardcore punk bands. Originally Mick Harris, former drummer for Napalm Death was to be the man behind the kit for Venomous Concept. Instead, for whatever reason, Danny Herrera (current drummer for Napalm Death) took the spot. To complete the line-up Buzz Osbourne (Melvins, Fantomas) was asked to play guitar. Their first full length was recorded in 2003 and has been named “Retroactive Abortion”. The band themselves paid for the recording of the album, “that way they record whatever they want, whenever they want... they are uncontrolled by labels... they produce their own music, art an! d media”. Once the album was recorded they shopped it around for the record deal. Since, they have signed the album to Ipecac Records, and “Retroactive Abortion” will be released June 29, 2004. It will include a strange conceptual video clip. Shane will also release a vinyl version of the LP on Napalm Death’s label FETO. Venomous Concept has played one show in Chicago so far, so there aren’t many people are around to give their impression of the band. To quote the Venomous Concept website they take influences from many different scenes; Japanese, Swedish, English, West Coast hardcore punk are all combined together, which will undoubtedly be an unruly noise. THEY MAKE NO APOLOGIES... IT'S ALL RAW NOISE!!

Title: MICHAEL JACKSON - YOU ROCK MY WORLD LIVE !!!!
Description: Michael Joseph Jackson (born August 29, 1958) is an American musician and entertainer. The seventh child of the Jackson family, he debuted on the professional music scene at the age of eleven as a member of The Jackson 5. Jackson began a solo career in 1972; he became a pop icon and was named the "King of Pop" in subsequent years. Five of his solo studio albums have become some of the world's best-selling pop records: Off the Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and HIStory (1995).
Jackson became a dominant figure in popular music in the late 1970s as the first African-American entertainer to amass a strong crossover following on MTV. The popularity of his music videos airing on MTV, such as "Beat It", "Billie Jean" and Thriller—credited for transforming the concept of music video into an art form and a promotional tool—helped bring the relatively young channel to fame. Videos such as "Black or White" and "Scream" kept Jackson a staple on MTV in the 1990s. With stage performances and music videos, Jackson popularized physically complicated dance techniques, such as the robot and the moonwalk. His distinctive musical sound and vocal style influenced numerous hip hop, pop and contemporary R&B artists.
In 1998, Jackson was acknowledged with a noble peace prize nomination for his humanitarian efforts. He has donated and raised millions of dollars for beneficial causes through his Dangerous World Tour, charity singles and support of thirty-nine charities.[1][2] However, other aspects of his personal life have generated significant controversies, his plastic surgery, lightening skin tone due to vitiligo and eccentric behavior have damaged his public image. He was accused of child molestation in 1993, although the matter was settled out of court. Jackson then married twice and fathered three children; all of which caused further controversy. In 2005, Jackson was tried and later acquitted of further molestation allegations and several other charges. He has been the subject of long-term financial difficulties and health concerns.
Jackson is one of the few artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. His awards include multiple Guinness World Records—including one for Thriller as the world's best-selling album—thirteen Grammy Awards, thirteen number one singles in his solo career—more than any other male artist after the creation of the Billboard Hot 100—and the sale of over 750 million units worldwide. Jackson's highly publicized personal life, coupled with his successful career, has made him a part of popular culture for almost four decades.[3]

We believe we have an interesting concept which will give us a large boost in our GCSE grades. Join us on this epic journey!

Title: ME PHI ME - Sad New Day
Description: Director Julien Temple (Sex Pistols, Janet Jackson, Tom Petty) presents a surrealistic theater of society's outkast's who become inspired by the positive rhymes of hip-hop innovator, Me Phi Me. Dangerous and funky, this critically acclaimed video tests Me Phi Me's loyalty to art as he's literally set on fire, covered with red fire ants, and accidentally exposed to toxic mercury vapors that required the EPA to temporarily shut down the set! Watch for a two quick cameos from producer, Chris Cuben.

Title: South Side of the Sky - Yes
Description: From their Fragile CD. The original version.
Wikipedia says the following about this song:
"South Side of the Sky" is a song by progressive rock band Yes from their album Fragile. It is one of the relatively few group performances on the album.
It opens with the sound of a howling wind. It then bursts into a heavy, riff-dominated rock song. At around 2:08, Rick Wakeman's piano comes in along with another few seconds of wind. the piano is gentler than the rest of the song, and even somewhat classical, but with a similar melody to it. At around 3:19, Chris Squire and Jon Anderson start singing wordless vocal harmonies along with the piano. This continues until about 5:42, when the earlier heavy riff part returns, with the wind in the background. The song fades out in the end to the same howling wind that occurred throughout.
In the liner notes of the remastered edition of Fragile, it is said that this song is about a tragic polar expedition that ends in death, as evidenced by lyrics such as "A river, a mountain to be crossed/ the sunshine, in mountains sometimes lost/ around the south side, so cold that we cried" and "The moments, seem lost in all the noise/ a snow storm, a stimulating voice". In the introduction to this song in Yes' 2003 concert at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Jon Anderson said, "This is a song about climbing mountains... It's dangerous, but we all must climb mountains every day."
"South Side of the Sky" was covered by the band Spock's Beard. The song is heard on the special edition third disc of their album Snow.
A cover of this song, with vocal contributions by Jon Anderson, appears as the first track on Glass Hammer's 2007 album Culture of Ascent, a concept album about mountain climbing in the Himalayas.
*************************
Lyrics:
A river a mountain to be crossed
The sunshine in mountains sometimes lost
Around the south side so cold that we cried
Were we ever colder on that day a million
Miles away
It seemed from all eternity
Move forward was my friend's only cry
In deeper to somewhere we could lie
And rest forthe the day with cold in the way
Were we ever colder on that day a million
Miles away
It seemed from all eternity
The moments seemed lost in all the noise
A snow storm a stimulating voice
Of warmth of the sky of warmth when you die
Were we ever warmer on that day a million
Miles away
We seemed from all eternity
The sunshine in mountains sometimes lost
The river can disregard the cost
And melt in the sky warmth when you die
Were we ever warmer on that day a million miles away
We seemed from all of eternity
Title: DON'T SNITCH
Description: This use to be another name with a similar video until I saw some adverts on t.v. that pissed me off and I changed the name and then the video frames to add the strings that defined how I think of the entrapment and manipulation of this ridiculous, dangerous concept.
Title: LOZ: My Immortal
Description: This was a Zelda music Video I made nearly 2 years back. I'm posting it here due to fan request, even though the video has already been posted by another user. This original Flash is available in Newgrounds, TXmafia, Phrozenflame and other sites.
This flash was inspired By Evanescence's song. It's the "band version" of the original piano song
in their first album Fallen.
Ever since I heard the original song, I felt inspired to develop a concept about a fallen hero since 2003. This was before I even learned flash.
The story in this video is about how Zelda truly feels about her hero Link, often worrying about putting him in these dangerous situations most of the time.
This is one of the flashes that I'm most proud of because this shows what the Legend of Zelda series truly means to me. It may not be as popular as my previous ones with Queen, but I don't mind.
I like to think of this as a tragic love story, but with a happy ending.I even mentioned in my site that if this flash is able to make you cry, then I succeeded in creating a great love story. Luckily I was right, thanks to the positive response this flash has gotten.
enjoy
Title: Blue Senturion The Metal AMV
Description: There is a dangerous shortage of music videos featuring everyone's favorite intergalactic police officer, and his zord the Robo Racer. I had to speed up a few clips to make the rest of the clips fit, but I think came out pretty well. Due to the shortage of exclusively Blue Senturion clips where he is not under Divatox's control or getting beaten, I resorted to Carranger VS Ohranger as a little bonus. I don't think that the concept behind this video is as good as my Dragonzord Godzilla video, but this time I believe I did a better job of making the clips fit the song.
Comments are greatly appreciated.
Clips: PRT and Carranger VS Ohranger
Song: The Metal
Band: Tenacious D
I do not own any of the clips or music.
Title: How to Make a Really Big Global Art Peace Project for 2008
Description: Wacky kids' Global Peace Project:Wassookeag School children (wassookeag.org) , under the direction of Debbie Bell, has participated in the Global Art Project for Peace for some years now http://www.global-art.org/ Through a central clearing house, art projects are exchanged between schools from countries around the Globe, all with one common purpose and theme: to promote Peace through art.
The basic idea of our project was to change perceptions of the globe, to shake up commonly held beliefs and too-familiar images. For us, this started with a non-U.S.-centric orientation of the continents. When seen from an unexpected angle, the Earth can really look like an alien planet! So we picked the wackiest conformation we could think of. (It takes a little work to find each continent upside down and sideways.)
The next concept was to increase peace & love with our neighbors by connecting the continents. We built a hole in each of the seven continents, and one additional hole in the area of Iraq, where our country is at war now. If all the continents were connected and we could visit and play with everyone all the time, could we really still have wars?
We asked the children what else they thought would promote peace. Somewhat surprisingly, they responded "helping the Earth by recycling". So we made stands for our Globe designed after our local Bangor Recycling bins. The children had never heard of slogans, so they made visual messages: they came up with the idea of recycling all war; recycling sadness; blood; tears; bombs (some of their ideas we had to leave up to the viewers imagination...)
We made two large hollow hemispheres (four feet in diameter) with chicken wire and paper-mâché. The Recycling bins are themselves recycled boxes. We made some people and animals from Sculpee, and some from pieces of copper wire soldered together.
The inside of the Earth was the subject of some heated debate amongst the students. They had very well-defined (and strongly held) opinions about these highly conceptual areas: would it be dark inside the Earth or light? Would a black world convey peace, or conflict? Would a red world be a dangerous place, or would magma convey the idea of love and understanding? This exercise helped them learn to express their opinions in a non-hurtful matter, but did not, alas, resolve the question: so inside the earth represents both a hot magma world and a crazy expressionistic world of cool dark images, all related to peace or the lack-of-peace.
The final test of perception was the portrayals of the countries and continents. Each child focused on one continent, but they also worked together and supported each other's ideas. Their teacher Debbie taught them about each continent and shared stories, photos and geological data about each region. But then it was up to each child to interpret their regions. It so happens that all the children at the Wassookeag have had experience in imagining the colors that represent a given person, or a concept. For example, they have discussions about what color the number 2 would be, or if a particular boy would be purple, or rainbow? Each child did a visual representation of their continent based on their own feelings and thoughts about that place. The results are surprising, sometimes funny, sometimes touching, but certainly not the world I learned about in geography.
Here is a video of us making our peace project. You can hear the children singing some crazy lapine languages they often speak or chant just to (further) confuse adults. You can also hear a song about "Tomorrows": Molly tried to write a happy song, but she is afraid it sounds too sad. I don't know. In the video, you can see the world visiting the HOPE festival in april; and also resting in it's temporary home at the Children's Library.

~I am but a lyricist who just so happens to sing, play piano/guitar, compose, produce, mix and dance. Nevertheless, I am but a lyricist, living in order to learn...~
The absolute most important thing to remember when listening to my music is that I have never taken a class or lesson for any of the instruments or the technical programs I use. What this translates into is that I have created it (composition, beats, mixing/arrangement, lyrics and vocals) entirely by myself in the confines of my own home, and I used equipment that is not in the least bit professional and mediocre at best. . With this knowledge, I believe that the listener can fully appreciate the ingenuity of this project.
~Biography~
Everyone on this Earth is born with an unbelievable talent to do something special unto only them. A passion that consumes every fabric of their essence until it is finally acknowledged, and mine was not songwriting; it was singing. However, the inevitability from the decision to be active in rebellion had a slight effect of such a blessing. The ability of song writing came only because when my decisions were held prisoner to a cycle of peer pressure, I was forced to experience life in a way that was foreign to me. Describing the life changing situations, sometimes colorful, but most times just plain dangerous, wrong and immaturely foolish became the only outlet I could use to understand them. When I finally freed myself from the illusionary cage I admittedly imprisoned myself within, I was left with a handwritten, tear soaked trail of experiences on random pieces of paper. After carefully sowing together the memories, the songs, and the lifelong passion, I am left with a quilt and the word destiny embroidered upon it.
~Style~
Over the past decade, the style of "pop" has become a social stigma that seams to automatically brand an artist to the classification of a bubble gum chewing, studio singing, over priced dancer. What is popular to the masses is out shadowed by the super elite voices of the few, who refer to such music as artless advertising. I respectfully can understand their point of view, considering all of the scandals and hype which has surrounded a lot of artists in the past, although I must slightly disagree. There are many so called "pop artists" who continue to amaze the general public with not only stunning vocal tracks and ear-sticking beats, but also their ability to accomplish the greatest goal of any musician, which is an unforgettable performance. If my musical production, mixing and composition skills were as accurate as my vision, which frankly they are not, then my style could be described as a mix of pop/urban piano jazz 1, pop/drum&bass seductive chill out 2, angry girl pop/indie rock 3, and raw club style pop 4, for my role models are those who have recreated the pop industry as I know it. The only missing factor is the unforgettable performance 5&6, which I am still vigorously trying to perfect. 1- Alicia Keys 2-Portishead 3-Ani DiFranco 4-Cristina Aguilera 5-Madonna 6-Britney Spears ~~~~~~~~
~Stages of Compassion~
Everyone has written a love song. Everyone. Before writing this album I fully understood this statement, and because of it, I set out to create something completely original that hasn't been done before. More than anything else I am a lyricist, so for my first album I wanted to create a concept piece where each song melted into the next, not only musically like a lot of artists are doing these days, but also lyrically. The style of Stages of Compassion is completely unique not only because of it's lyrical content, but also it's musical flow. Stages of Compassion relays an universal lyrical story of how the emotion of love grows, adapts and changes. Therefore, the specific style of the album's music grows, adapts and changes right along with the lyrics. This allows the listener to actually feel the style of the songs change as the album progresses.

Title: Junky ShowOff
Description: JunkyShowOff' film to support Junky Styling's London Fashion Week A/W 08/09 Showcase at the Brickhouse, Bricklane. This film was filmed, produced and directed by the UK's newest talent duo IO&LUCY.
"A femme fatale (plural: femmes fatales) is an alluring and seductive woman whose charms ensnare her lovers in bonds of irresistible desire, often leading them into compromising, dangerous, and deadly situations. She is an archetypal character of literature and art."
IO&LUCY collaborate as freelance image makers, innovating ideas and art directing projects from stills in editorial to live shows and film. This latest piece was projected behind the catwalk show of Junky Styling's latest collection of garments modelled by Britain's Next Top Models and live music performed by My Toys Like Me. The Film took its inspiration from Junky's collection concept of The Femme Fatale. Using symbolism whilst also considering the brand ethics, IO&LUCY represented the sexiness, strength and power of the Femme Fatale through a flower. A flower maintains its beauty and stays rooted through all natures powerful elements. In a contemporary fashion, IO&LUCY chose to customize a wind spinning object to act as the flower and, in their iconic spontaneous style, stood this within the outdoors and let nature control the outcome of the footage. What you see is the beauty of still image, alluring and seductively moving into compromising, dramatic spinning to entrance and hypnotise the viewer.
