Description: I sat in my hotel room contemplating what I was going to do. I was still on cloud nine from my dinner with nick. It was absolutely perfect. He had a table set up away from everyone else.. It was the best one on one time with him that I could have ever asked for. We talked about the most randomest [it's a real word I swear! Lol] things. He told me about his new life on the road. I was excited for him and the boys. I know how hard they have fought for this. Blood sweat and tears. They deserve anything and everything that comes their way. I told him about the new and very different life I had in London. He seemed amazed and told me that one day he and his brothers were going to go to London and do a European tour. I just smiled at his big dreams...but I believe in him. I was playing with my cell phone debating what my final decision is going to be. Go back to London or stay in New York. I dialed a number. "hello?" I heard her say on the other line. She seemed tired. "mom. Did I wake you up?" "honey its like 4 in the morning over here." she said in a small laugh. I missed her so much. "sorry." "is there something wrong?" I was scared to tell her and I didn't know what her reaction would be. "I know this is going to sound crazy but..." I explained everything that happened to her. From the lesson with Mr. Reeves and his offer to me. When I finished there was a long awkward silence between the two of us. I almost thought she fell asleep again. "mom? What do you think I should do?" "I don't know sweetheart. What's wrong with the school you're in already? And plus you'll be leaving me here in London all by myself" I was thinking about what she told me. But I was always by myself in London. I hardly ever saw her. It would be the same thing. I was beginning to get emotional again. I began to cry but mad sure she wouldn't be able to tell over the phone. "but its my dream" I softly said through the phone. "do what ever you want Jocelyn. Just make sure you're making the right decision." With that she just hung up the phone. My heart shattered into millions of pieces. How could she be so cold? All I wanted was for her to support me not make me go through a guilt trip. I closed my phone and looked down at my dads dogtag. What I wouldn't do to have him come back. He would know exactly what to say to help me out of this stump. I got up and walked over to Joes room. I softly knocked on his door. It took him a good 10 minutes to finally open. He's a little lazy so I sat down outside in the hall. He opened and almost fell on his face as he tripped over me. "JC? What are you doing? Its late." I looked up at him with tears in my eyes. He expression softened and he embraced me in a hug. "did nick do this to you?" I laughed through my tears and shook my head no. "then what's wrong?" "I miss him." He knew exactly what I was talking about. Besides me I think Joe was the only other person who was closest to my dad. He was like my dads son. Joe was always attached to him. He always looked up to him and followed him everywhere. Joe plopped down next to me. "I do too. We all do." "I miss his words. His advice. His hugs. Everything." I began to cry again and Joe pulled me into a hug. "he's still with us. Besides I really doubt your dad would want us to be sitting out here crying like babies." I looked over at Joe who was wiping away his tears. I slightly smiled at this. A lot of people don't know Joe is a sensitive guy. They just see him as the one who is always smiling. "you're right. Get up you big baby." I was laughing and held out my hand to him. He looked at me confused. "seriously if I didn't know you as well as I do I would think you were bipolar." "gee thanks joey." I said slightly insulted. "so what is your final decision?" "what? How did you know about what decisions I have to make?" "walls are thin little one." he laughed and began going into his room. He stood by his door still waiting for my response. "I don't know yet. I'll have an answer for sure in the morning." "geez now I have to wait for another 4 hours. Youre sucha tease!" I stuck my tongue out at him and began walking towards my room. I'm not a tease...just confused. ------------ I know it's a little short but that's where I want to stop. I'm stuck sick at home with a fever! So you might get some more later...that's if my Nyquil doesn't kick in! ha! I just saw the commercial for the movie NICK AND NORA'S INFINATE PLAYLIST....I'm soooo gonna watch that movie! The love of my life Michael Cera is in it!!!! How can you not love him! Ok that's enough rambling! THANKS GUYS! Oh and you should check out musicoverdoseislove serires!!! Its sooo good! She plays Sarah in my who knew series...total sweetheart! Description: On Joe Scarborough's MSNBC show "Morning Joe," Willie Geist has a segment called "News You Can't Use." On that segment Friday, May 2, 2008, he points that in one of Hillary's stump speeches, she asks people to bet on the female horse, "Eight Belles" in the 134th Kentucky Derby. Willie says, "Big Brown is the 3-1 favorite to win the first leg of the Triple Crown at Churchill Downs despite the fact he's starting way outside in the 20th position. Well Senator Hillary Clinton is not going with that favorite. She likes...get this...an upstart filly, who will fight to the very end." Joe Scarborough says, "Boy how embarrassing if Eight Belles pulls up lame and they have to put her down." Either Joe was just imaging the worst scenario for Hillary's metaphor or he has an ability to see into the future, because, the worst scenario became a reality. "The victory was overshadowed by an injury to Eight Belles, who broke both front ankles and was immediately euthanized after the race." Big Brown was "the first horse to win from the 20 hole since Clyde Van Dusen in 1929" This was only Big Brown's fourth race in his career! Is this a bad Omen for Hillary or just a lame attempt to play the gender card that ended up being a parallel she will regret making. Do you think Joe Scarborough feels bad that he laughed about it even though it was before the race and the chances of that happening were extremely slim?
