Title: Tsugaru Shamisen Music - Nijiiro no Kaze
Description: This is a song made by the famous shamisen player Agatsuma Hiromitsu. The name of the song means "Rainbow colored wind" and its on his newest album Eien no Uta. I started training this song yesterday, but it's really confuse. I'm putting this one today, just to remember some parts (there are several errors on this one) and to make a new one, once I fully absorbed the music. It's a very nice song. I'll update this afterwards. Thanks for everyone who is seeing my videos!

Title: Dorm Concert pt. II: Hiromitsu Agatsuma - Grooving
Description: The artist behind the album "Beams" is a world renown Japanese shamisen prodigy, Hiromitsu Agatsuma. Competing with experienced masters from the older generation and taking the national Japanese Tsugaru-Shamisen tournament by storm at age six, he's the youngest entrant to win in the history of this competition.
His musical style heavily derives from traditional Japanese music, but also takes key musical functions from the grooving subgenres of rock and blues.

Title: Vlog #72 - Folk Dancing & Iris
Description: In mid-June, as I do almost every year, I went to the Horokiri Iris Festival and the Meiji Jingu Gyoen to see my favorite flower, the iris. There are many, many varieties, all of which I know nothing about by the way, I just like looking at them.
Enjoy the dancing and flowers!

Title: People, Places, Things...
Description: Part 2 of our trip to Tokyo, Japan. This is just photos and video of things we observed and found interesting as westerners in Japan. They may seem like normal things to you, but we live in the largest city in Montana with a population of 100,000. So, to go to a city of 13 million is quite a change for us! The population density of Montana is about 4 people per square mile....Tokyo is about 15,000 per square mile.

Title: Friends, Food, and Fun!
Description: Part 3 of our trip to Japan.
These are our friends that we hung out with in Tokyo and Nagano. Without them, our trip would have been average...but they made it so much fun and they accepted (and treated) us like family!
Thank you:
Kyoko - for driving to the airport and picking us up! That was very kind! I know it's not cheap to do something like that!
Makoto and Tomoko - for treating us so well and letting Eri hang out with us! Tomoko's cooking is amazing!! sugoku oishii!! (oh yeah, and for always insisting and paying for the taxi back to the hotel even though it was a 10 minute walk in the safest city in the world)
Eri - for being so nice, hanging out with us, and taking us everywhere!! Oh yeah, and thanks for letting me tease you so much!!!
Anzu (nani, nani??) - for being so fun...and funny!! I wish we could have said good-bye.
Sayaka - for taking your whole day off to show us a great time and taking us to the coolest resaurant in Shinigawa!!
Jimmy and Ikumi - for opening your home to us and showing us a great time. ...and for a really good traditional breakfast!!
Kenichi and Yumiko - for a great, and unexpected lunch at the unagi restaurant! It was so good!!
Misturu & Yurie - for taking us to the beautiful garden and also for arranging the lunch with Keisuke, Humio, Tsutomu, and Miwako...it was nice to see everyone again!
Miwako!! - for being our friend and Japanese teacher when you were in Montana. We miss you!!!
Keisuke - for being a really neat guy and having a passion to reach the kids in Japan. Thanks for coming up to our room and talking to us for a while! It was nice to catch up.
To the two strangers on the street our first day... one talked to us for an hour. We didn't get a name or even a picture, but it was one of the highlights of our visit...the other one stopped and gave us the bookmarks and welcomed us to Japan....wow!!
