Description: In this video, listen to the "Thrashing of Sky Ranch" cue from the Cherry 2000 score by Basil Poledouris. I've synced the music from the CD to the scene in the movie during which it plays, only without a soundtrack so you can hear just the music. I hope to make a series of videos of my favorite pieces of music from one of my favorite film composers. For video number one, I took the "Thrashing of Sky Ranch" cue from the Prometheus Records version of the Cherry 2000/No Man's Land score CD. Cherry 2000 is a 1987 science fiction B-movie starring Melanie Griffith. It is arguably one of Poledouris' most creative scoring projects, a blend of sci-fi synthesizers and Morricone-style western mystery.
