Title: A-TEENS | Super trouper
Description: Video:
Super Trouper, segundo single del disco The ABBA Generation
Biografia A*Teens
Gimme! Gimme! (a man after midnight)" y "Dancing Queen".
De este disco salieron éxitos como Upside Down, Halfway Around the World y Sugar Rush.
Otros temas que destacaron de estos discos fueron Floorfiller, Let Your Heart Do all the Talking, Can't Help Falling in Love, A Perfect Match y Heartbreak Lullaby.
Tanto Pop til you Drop! como New Arrival vendieron 800,000 copias.

Title: Felicia Sanders Tribute
Description: Here is a famous Kurt Weill song performed by the great cabaret singer Felicia Sanders.
Felicia Sanders (1922 - 1975) was a singer of traditional pop music. She was born Felice Schwartz in Mount Vernon, New York and, in the 1940's sang both with big bands and on the radio, based in Los Angeles. She stopped singing to get married, but was bored with stay-at-home life, and in 1950 returned to singing, in a nightclub in Hollywood, Café Gala. She was heard there by Benny Carter, who thought enough of her to recommend her to Mitch Miller, Columbia Records' artist and repertory director. She was picked, in 1953, by Columbia's biggest orchestra leader, Percy Faith, to sing a vocal on a song he was recording, taken from the film "Moulin Rouge", a biographical film about Toulouse-Lautrec. The song, known as "The Song from Moulin Rouge", was recorded on January 22, 1953 and released by Columbia with the credits shown as "Percy Faith and his Orchestra featuring Felicia Sanders". The song reached #1 on all the record charts, and was to be her biggest success.
Just before the record was released, she was hired by New York's famous Blue Angel nightclub, and she played there for a long time, being the first singer to do the song "In Other Words (Fly Me to the Moon)", although she did not record it until several other singers had done so. Miller kept finding other songs to have her sing, but only one other was a big hit: "Blue Star", based on the theme from a well-known television series, "Medic". She died of cancer at the age of 53.
Enjoy Felicia's great style!

Title: Cozy Cole - Topsy, Part II
Description: Cozy Cole (October 17, 1909 -- January 31, 1981) was a jazz drummer who scored a #1 hit with the record "Topsy Part 2". The recording contained a lengthy drum solo, and was one of the few drum solo recordings that ever made the Billboard Hot 100 (1958) chart. The single was issued on the tiny Brooklyn-based Love Records label.
William Randolph Cole was born in 1909 in East Orange, New Jersey. His first music job was with Wilber Sweatman in 1928. In 1930 he played for Jelly Roll Morton's Red Hot Peppers, recording an early drum solo on "Load of Cole". He spent 1931--33 with Blanche Calloway, 1933-34 with Benny Carter, 1935-36 with Willie Bryant, 1936-38 with Stuff Smith's small combo, and 1938-42 with Cab Calloway. In 1942, he was hired by CBS Radio music director Raymond Scott as part of network radio's first mixed-race orchestra.
Cole appeared in music-related films, including a brief cameo in Don't Knock the Rock. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s Cole continued to perform in a variety of settings. He died of cancer in 1981, in Columbus, Ohio.
Title: Swing from France: Django's Music - Daphne, 1940 (Paris)
Description: Django Reinhardt was one of Europe's earliest jazz musician's to gain fame on the international level. His style of choice was Gypsy Jazz on the guitar, spending much of his youth in gypsy camps near Paris. By the mid '30s he was playing alongside the likes of Coleman Hawkins, Benny Carter and Louis Armstrong and leading his own band which is now a legend: Hot Club de Paris. During WWII, Reinhardt escaped the fate of many other Gypsies who were sent to their deaths at the hands of the Nazis. It has been reported that Reinhardt had an influential fan in the Luftwaffe. His popularity soared in post war Europe and beyond thanks in part to his musical partnership with Stephane Grappelli. Reinhardt retired in 1951 and died in 1953 after collapsing outside his house from a brain hemorrhage.
