" SOMEWHERE (abridged version) SOMEWHERE: A HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL. Kristallnacht 1938 and the S.S. St. Louis voyage to Havana,Cuba in 1939. More than 900 jews on a ship bound for Cuba with valid landing permits were denied entry and forced to return to Europe. Many of them perished in the nazi concentration camps.
