Title: MAC MALL - Sic Wit Tis MUSIC VIDEO [DVDRIP HQ BEST] PTBTV
Description: Mac Mall's SIC WIT TIS music video directed by Chris Kirk. Classic Bay Area rap music video. Mac Mall, (born Jamal Rocker in Vallejo, California) is a West Coast rapper who became known in the mid/late 1990s, as one of the local artists bringing the Bay Area on the hip hop map. Mac Mall was discovered by Mac Dre and was signed to Young Black Brotha Records. One of Mac Mall's first singles was a song called "Ghetto Theme", and the music video directed by Tupac Shakur in 1993. He was also longtime friends with the Mac Dre, who was his mentor early on in his career / repairing their friendship a couple of years before Dre's death. He is one of the premier artists on Dre's Thizz Entertainment label. He is also cousins to E-40 and B-Legit. In 1993 Mac Mall released his debut album Illegal Business? on the Young Black Brotha label. Khayree Shaheed worked as the producer and the album featured Ray Luv, Mac Dre and The Mac. In 1996 he signed a record deal with Relativity Records, which released his second album Untouchable. In 2006, Mac Mall released Thizziana Stoned And The Temple of Shrooms. VALLEJO'S CRESTSIDE neighborhood occupies a tear-shaped square mile on the northeastern edge of town, wedged between a major thoroughfare and the freeways shuttling tourists to nearby Marine World. Centered on Crest Ranch Park, with bucolic street names like Miravista and Haviture Way, it was clearly designed as suburban space -- modest homes with tidy lawns are laid out in traffic-impeding loops and dead ends, at once labyrinthine and insular. But far from being a commuter haven, Crestside is the toughest hood in Vallejo, home to a small, proud, extremely close-knit African American community that contributes a disproportionately large share of talent to Bay Area hip-hop. When Dre moved to Sacramento in 1999, he changed the label's name to Thizz Entertainment to avoid connections to the Romper Room Gang, his former partners in crime. Dre thought the name Thizz perfectly expressed how it felt when you were high on Ecstasy which was becoming popular in the Bay Area hip hop scene. When, on November 1, 2004, Mac Dre was shot and killed after a performance in Kansas City, Missouri Dre's business partners Miami tha Most and Curtis "Kilo Curt" Nelson took over the label, and added Mac Mall as co-owner. The label's base of operations was then moved back to the Bay Area. Santa Rosa is the county seat of Sonoma County, California, United States. As of January 1, 2007, the population of Santa Rosa was approximately 157,985 residents. Video: YOUNG LAY - All About My Fetti MUSIC VIDEO (ft. Ray Luv & Mac Mall) [HQ, DVD] - PTBTV
Title: YOUNG LAY - All About My Fetti MUSIC VIDEO (ft. Ray Luv & Mac Mall) [HQ, DVD] - PTBTV
Description: Young Lay's ALL ABOUT MY $FETTI music video directed by Michael Martin featuring Ray Luv and Mac Mall. Classic Bay Area rap music video. Lathan Williams (born 1975 in Vallejo, California), better known by his stage name Young Lay, is a San Francisco Bay Area-based gangsta rapper. He has worked with artists such as Tupac Shakur and Mac Dre, and is known as the father of Le-Zhan Williams, a boy who later was reported missing and was found raised by abductors after they murdered his mother and set fire to the house. Black 'N Dangerous (1996) Unsolved Mysteries (1998) Don't Get It Twisted (2003) Young Lay Presents: Lifeline Original Soundtrack (2004) Williams first went public as rapper Young Lay around the same time his family moved to Vallejo. By the age of 16, he and a friend had performed Williams' first song, Don't Touch the Nikes, at the Boys Club, parties or anywhere else they could entertain a group of people, his sister said. "They'd get up and start flowing." His career took off when his single, All About My Fetti, appeared on volume one of the New Jersey Drive soundtrack in 1995. The Spike Lee-produced film centered on the lives of young car thieves in Newark, N.J. All About My Fetti depicts a group of young men who hold money in higher esteem than all else. With the other songs on the soundtrack, it reflected the street themes of the movie. The soundtrack linked Williams to more established names from the East Coast rap scene, Queen Latifa, Notorious B.I.G., Coolio, Redman and Outkast. Some of the names were big in 1995, others have grown in stature since. The record went gold, and Williams signed on with Atlantic Records. His father said Williams set out on a tour of both Vallejo high schools as well as campuses in New York, Georgia and Alabama. Leila Steinberg, who also represented Tupac Shakur, took over the management of Young Lay. Shakur wanted to collaborate with Williams after hearing his music, Steinberg said. The track the two recorded, Got 2 Survive, appeared in June 1996 on Williams' first album, Black 'n Dangerous. When Shakur, who was gunned down in September 1996, recognized a musician's talent, it reflected highly on the artistic value of that performer, Steinberg said. By the time Williams' career was underway in the 1990s, rap had found mainstream success; there was a national audience and people could make serious money selling albums. West Coast rap has its origins as party music. Some big names came out of California, both northern and southern: N.W.A., M.C. Hammer, Dr. Dre and Snoop Doggy Dogg.
