Title: Nishio Saijo Castle - Ancient Japan - Aichi Prefecture
Description: Castelo de Nishio - Visita Eu, Teruo e Cidoka. Uma tarde muito agradavel. Nishio City's Saijo Castle dates from the year of Jokyu (1221), and is said to have been built by the great warrior Yoshiuji Ashikaga. The castle is also known by its nickname of tsurushiro (crane castle). In the year of Meiwa (1764) it became the main base of the Matsudaira clan, and after this the fiefdom of Nishio reached a level of prosperity measured at 60,000 koku (1 koku = 47.654 gallons) of rice production. (In old times, the wealth and size of a clan was measured by the amount of rice their fiefdom could produce.) The remains of this age of prosperity are in evidence to this day, in both immaterial and material form. Because of this, the city is regarded as the little Kyoto of the Mikawa region.' Title: Okazaki Castle Japanese Art and History Museum - Museu de Okazaki - Historia e arte japonesa (4/5)
Description: Visita ao Museu Mikawa Bushi, no Castelo de Okazaki. Muito interessante. Okazaki Castle is the symbol of the city, and for many years played a central role in the town's life. These days it is the centrepiece of Okazaki Park, a massively popular spot for hanami parties under the cherry blossoms and the wisteria flowers each spring, and the focus of the Ieyasu Gyoretsu parade in April, the famous Okazaki Fireworks festival each August, and the Autumn Civic Festival . The castle donjon is illuminated each night, and Okazaki simply wouldn't be the same without the pride the citizens take in the history of their castletown. Museum Permanent Exposition Prologue The Climate of Mikawa That Produced The Ruller of all of Japan Okazaki was deeply connected with the Genji and Ashikaga Clans throughout the Kamakura(1185 to1333) and Muromachi(1336 to 1573) Periods. This section introduces the background of the area focusing on Ashikaga Takauji and Minamoto Yoritomo.. 1 The Emergence of the Matsudaira clan and its Vassals Okubo Hikozaemon, the autohr of "Mikawa Monogatari"(The Story of the Mikawa Region), guides visitors through the histori of the Matsudaira Clan from its founder, Matsudaira Chikauji, to seventh-generation descendent Kiyoiye with computer graphics and fascinating artifacts. 2 Iyeyasu's birth to hostage period Iyeyasu was born in Okazaki Castle as Takechiyo(his infant name ,later to be changed to Motoyasu), the first son of Matsudaira Hirotada(8th generation of the Matsudaira Clan), Iiyeyasu was held captive by the Oda and Imagawa clans for 12 years from when he was six years old. This difficult time for Iyeyasu and his family is depicter in images ane artifacts. 3 Iyeyasu's conquest of Mikawa When Imagawa Yoshimoto was killed in the battle of Okehazama, Iyeyasu escaped and returned to Okazaki. In order to conquer the Mikaza Region, he cut all ties with Imagawa and become independent through the insurgence which is displayed in pictures here in the museum. 4 Iyeyasu during Oda's and Toyotomi's ruling After conquring Mikawa Iyeyasu waged war against the Takeda clan. After the death of Nobunaga, Iyeyasu took control of Kai and Shinano .Iyeyasu became the lord of five provinces and finally engaged in a battle with Tyotomi Hideyoshi. The battle of Sekigahara comes to life in large pictures; a large moving diorama and color screen displays. 5 Iyeyasu's as the founder of the Edo Period In 1600 Iyeyasu fought against troops of Ishida Mitunari at Sekigahara and won. In 1603 he was appointed Shogun and established the Edo Shogunate. Two years later he assigned the position of Shogun to his son Hidetada and resigned from the official post as the Shogunate, but continued to exerise influence as a retired shogun. He exterminated the Toyotomi clan during two battles in Osaka, eradicating every potential enemy. This section illustrates the latter Iyeyasu's life until he died at the age of 75 and includes his portrait.

Who is in my dream? 象流云飘来飘去, Like clouds floating back and forth 流云飘来飘去。 Floating clouds back and forth. 你是否记得, Can you remember 悄悄地告诉你, Softly telling you, 我愿意象那温暖的朝阳 I am willing to be like that warm morning sun 陪伴着你,陪伴着你, To keep you company, to keep you company, 永远和你相依? And be with you forever? 是你在我心里, It is you in my heart, 是你在我梦里, It is you in my dream, 象春天的花朵, Just like Spring's flower, 开在我心里。 Blossoming in my heart. 你是否记得, Can you remember 悄悄地告诉你, Softly telling you, 我愿意象那三月的和风 I am willing to be like that light breeze in March 陪伴着你,陪伴着你, To keep you company, to keep you company, 永远和你相依? Description: I took an IC recorder with me last time I went to karaoke with a friend, and recorded her singing enka. Having just discovered the basic video editing software on my computer and having nothing better to do with a lot of photos of the Sapporo Snow Festival, why not make a slideshow of a Japanese festival set to Japanese music? I also discovered that there is not a lot of information available online in English about enka, so if anyone has any questions that aren't answered by watching other YouTube videos and Wikipedia, contact me and I will see if I can find an answer.
