Title: La Cañada Training
Description: Training video I put together from a day of solo training in La Cañada.
This video is meant to show the basics of Parkour and that it isn't about the huge stunts you see in most videos. I also wanted to show the progression, repetition, mistakes, and creativity in Parkour.
Most of the day I was trying to work on coordination and control, fluidity, and just trying to be creative with my environment, even if some of the movements aren't efficient, training is training.
Anyways, Enjoy.
Train well
Peace out
Music:
"Life is Beautiful"
A Reminiscent Drive
-The music is the same as the film "Visions" from Parkour Generations. I really like the tone and mood of their film so I tried to make something similar, attempting to give that same mood.

Title: Designated Driver
Description: A song for everyone ready to jump start they're weekend in a big way, with a Friday night; READY TO PARTY ALL WEEKEND?
WHO IS COMPLEX? There is a simple answer; At age 17, Genisis and Rico Armani are stepping into hip-hop and ready to shut it down. They are not all talk, and they stand out from every other cookie cutter, watered -down artist. Their effortless flow and crisp style is evident throughout their music. From the time they were young they knew that rapping is what they wanted to do. The two met in high-school, and started off rapping together before, during, and after school for fun and for something to do. That same year the two collaborated to perform at a school benefit concert and clicked to make the song "Fly Away"; though it was not until later that year that the two decided to come together as a group. Every region has one artist or group that people identify it with. In the South the group Outkast gave Atlanta an identity. This led the way for Ludacris, Young Jeezy and T.I.'s accomplishments. On the West Coast, N.W.A. paved the way for artists such as Snoop Dogg and The Game to achieve multi-platinum success. With the same pioneering spirit, Complex is forging a musical identity for the Mid-West! With influences from Chicago artists, such as: Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, and The Cool Kids, they are taking Hip-hop and creating a style of fun music that is reminiscent of artists such as Mase. Complex represents something new. A Hip Hop duo that doen't rap about gang violence and drugs, Genesis and Rico Armani, are here to talk about what they deal with on an everyday basis: Girls, school situations, being fresh, and having a good time. Complex believes that there are a lot of people who can identify with their music and who will enjoy their catchy hooks and their swagger-laced verses.
Title: New X-Patriate (Alan Lipman): "Future Remembers". In Bangkok
Description: New song and video from X-Patriate (Alan J. Lipman): "Future Remembers". From the upcoming 2007 release "The Cost".
Song is amazing--a mixture of tablas, sitars, keyboards, vocals, reminiscent of Peter Gabriel and White Album Beatles, but with an world/urban edge, sophistication and darkness all its own.
The video sweeps through the narrative of the song, taking you through the streets of Bangkok, Shanghai, and New York, as the protagonist "Future Remembers." Tuk tuks, sky trains, skylines, the narrow alleys of Thai markets, street vendors of scorpions on sticks and kiwis, the approach to Manhattan, Columbus Circle, the pouring rain of a Bangkok drive.
Again, music and lyrics by Lipman, and, once again, he plays all the instruments and sings all the parts.
Really great.
Future Remembers: X-Patriate (Alan Lipman)
"He saw a moment of his future
Bright lights while smelling shop fronds
A shot behind his head (sound of shot)
He saw a light but
It did not dispel his problem
He saw a moment that
Would capture him beyond the light
A bolt to the left
It seemed important
The mud
That had caught his boot before
A sound to the right
A smiling child
He didn't care about race
He didn't care about time
He didn't care about future
But there was his future!
Six years later on a Bangkok street
The smell of incense
Brings him back to another day
Was that his future?
No, half of the future
Just enough
To remind him what he felt
Yellow light
Just before red
He's waiting
He's waiting
There's a coffee cup wedged
By the side of his leg
When he remembers
That brighter yellow light."

Title: V Double O & Jo'Leon YouTube Exclusive Remix! New Album!
Description: Jo'Leon Davenue
Welcome to Mellow Defiance the much anticipated debut album by self-acclaimed "mood music" artist JoLeon Davenue aka J.O.D.
The release Mellow Defiance emerges from the underground scene to touch surfaces with the popular, a collective and psychodelic fusion of sounds and lyrics, set to storm a range of genres: capitalising in Hiphop, Soul and Jazz, making Mood Music.
JoLeon´s debut album features production from Norwegians Harry West, Bishop and Jonesy; UK Shuri-Kan and U.S.A Chris Rockaway, alongside vocal appearances from Enrico, Bekky plus the UK´s fastest rapper V Double O.
Apart from the British accent, JoLeon´s voice is reminiscent of the late Barry White, presenting J.O.D as a new vocalist and generation of the deep, sexy and utmostly distinctive.
"Café Cloud 9" is the first single to Mellow Defiance, an uplifting and mesmerising experimental piece, blending grains of electro-pop, soulful house and smooth lyrisist rhymes.
JoLeon creates an album to make a stance in World Music, not marginalising his sound to a singular market, and abandoning the stereotypical testerone generic of rap music, focusing instead on real life stories and messages. Lyrics to reflect JoLeon´s "mellow defiance" are illustrated through the themes of love and music, ultimately to deliver messages of education, experience and inspiration.
He builds his blocks and steps towards recognition and success in music and life via the J.O.D. philosophy of forcing your way in.

Title: Refreshment time animated intermission
Description: A trippy drive-in intermission video with visuals reminiscent of "Yellow Submarine" as well as a possible Beatles music connection: the background music sounds alot like "Come and get it" (audiences would mentally remember the lyrics which are quite appropriate considering the context). That 1970 pop song was originally performed by Badfinger but was actually written by Paul McCartney.
The commercial aspects (Pizza, Pepsi, a cow turning into a hamburger) ultimately overwhelm the art and leave a bad taste in the brain.
Title: Pol Rax - Rock Your Video (SEEK Records)
Description: Killer hi energy E.P from Pol Rax with a powerful drive and classic synths reminiscent to Giorgio Morodore. This sounds like an old italo disco release from the late 80's. But Actually its pretty new and comes from Poland. Essential record for fans of Metro Area.
Title: La Tirania De La Tradicion
Description: Off of Omar's solo album: Se Dice Bisonte, No Bufalo. One spectacular example of Cedric Bixler's vocal talents. Although it's reminiscent of scatting, Cedric really does a fan-fucking-tastic job on this song. Enjoy!
EDIT: Music ends at around 5 min. Editing fuck up, however I'm too lazy to redo this.
Title: FSX - The best FREEWARE scenery? Mount Everest & foothills
Description: Best viewed in HQ if you have the option... A flight round Everest to illustrate this stunning [IMHO] piece of scenery. I lost some resolution during upload but you can still get the picture... Parts of it were reminiscent of scenes from BBC's Planet Earth.
Please excuse my panning & zooming, I'm not used to flying in exterior view & was finding it tricky.
I don't normally like music in flight sim videos (preferring the aircraft sounds)but the default Learjet sounds like a slightly peeved mosquito! I think the piece I settled on is quite fitting, hope you all agree - it was a close call with "Dance of the Knights", but this won over on duration, additionally the 'climax' of the music almost perfectly co-incides with the climax of the flight at around 4:40 to 5:20.
Computer:
AMD Athlon64 x2 4000+ 2.1Ghz [overclocked to 2.3].
3Gb DDR2.
512Mb XFX Nvidia GeForce 9600GT - currently starved by my 250w PSU.
120Gb Seagate SATA drive
[close to capacity].
IF ANYONE KNOWS OF ANY DECENT FSX SCENERY FEATURING THE EGYPTIAN PYRAMIDS, PLEASE MESSAGE ME. I'm amazed the seven wonders haven't been done as a scenery set yet. Any scenery developers reading, please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonders_of_the_World for inspiration.
EDIT: Since making this video I have seen Aerosoft's Lukla X which has a very nice rendition of Everest, but it's still not a patch on this.... Arise Sir Frank! [the creator of this scenery]
Title: THE ESSEX - VINTAGE DOO-WOP GEM
Description: The Essex had a big hit with "Easier Said Than Done", which reached #1 on the US Billboard Charts in 1961. The beautiful love ballad "Are You Going My Way?" was the B-side of that record, and thus ignored by radio DJs. To me "Are You Going My Way" is A-material, a sweet and innocent love ballad reminiscent of those days of cotton candy, ice cream and a date at the drive-in. - Enjoy this golden oldie, and please take a moment to rate and comment.
Title: Enemy Love - Bluer Than Blue
Description: http://www.enemylove.com/
Enemy Love are an American band from New York City, playing in the veins of indie rock, early 2000s post-punk, and dance-punk. Band members include Peter Rinko, Matt Hayes, and Dan Silk. They have released one four-song EP, 2003's eponymously titled Enemy Love, on Diet Strychnine Records, recorded in Monterey, Massachusetts with producer Thom Monahan.
Enemy Love is the eponymously-named first recording by Enemy Love, released in 2003 through Diet Strychnine Records. A four-track EP, it was recorded during April 2003 in Monterey, Massachusetts, with producer Thom Monahan.
The songs were created in the context of the early-2000s post-punk revival in New York City, yet the compact pop-hook nature of that music has been drawn out by Enemy Love into longer trails of bright guitar and danceable drumming, akin to aspects of the nascent dance-punk movement. The use of dissonance is reminiscent of late My Bloody Valentine, though each song on Enemy Love is marked by its own unique, shimmering melodies and distinctive vocals.
Above all, the lyrics seem to drive the song structures through their droning atmospheres. A song may meander following long rants and then break down into compact pockets of melody ("She Don't Make Me Run"), or the music of the song may become increasingly dissonant and ugly as lyrics take momentary nosedives into foolishness then return to an original propulsive course ("Weekender"), or yet another song can be built up, shaped around one thought then another, and the vocals will shimmer brighter and the bass will bounce more vividly according to each new height of lyrical fervor ("We Are All God's People").
Track listing:
1. "Weekender" (4:40)
2. "We Are All God's People" (4:47)
3. "Into the Sun" (4:30)
4. "She Don't Make Me Run" (5:21)

Band:
