Description: Here's MY music video interpretation of my favorite song of all time. Tori Amos has a great pop sensibility, and I think that "Floating City" is one of the best pop songs ever made. When I made this, I wanted to make sure the whole video matched well with the music. That should be commonplace with a compilation video. Tori is much more than just a woman behind a piano. This video is a fine example of that. I hope you all like it. Enjoy. I have lived by one simple rule: if it's worth buying, it's worth keeping! In this video you will see the first consumer cd player, the Sony CDP 101 (as well as it's original magazine ad) which was released on October 1,1982, as well as the first ever cd released by an U.S. artist (on the same day the player came out), Billy Joel's 52nd Street, as well as various out of print titles, some still sealed in the original longbox, box sets, rare German "target" cd's, import cd's, ads, posters, gold dics and finally closing with some of the rarest Tori Amos collectibles from the "Y Kant Tori Read" era back in 1988! I love all genres of music, so there is more than likely something in here you will find interesting. Watch closely and see how many items you can positively identify from the video! I also use the 1st pressing (catalog #35DP 1) version of Billy Joel's "My Life" ripped directly from the 1983 Japanese cd released in 1982!
