Description: Redondo Beach band Greenhouse Effect with 1988's 'Precarious' off their March 88' album....Guitarist Phil Keegan had a riff which the band worked on for quite some time...some great vocals and lyrics were added by Clark Hagins and this one became a classic...a little bit like Bubblepuppy meets Iron Butterfly with some Zeppelin....Greenhouse Effect would practice in bassist Rick Carmody's grungey room (assorted with flannels, hockey jerseys, torn jeans, beer cans, etc...)...the house was definitely an influence on G.e's powerful meddy LOUD sound which was angry but yet still tight (the band definitely was mining a sound, image, and 'lifestyle' ...that was uniquely all their own !!) This 1992 Song wound up briefly on it's own e.p. late in 92 but due to lack of sales was put together with September 1992's BIG TEEN DOLLAR$ cassette....this mish mash of a couple of final projects would be G.e's last ever...low on funds and unable to even assemble a band for live play , Clark Hagins called it quits at age 27...G.e.
