Heres a message from Lisa for all those who are curious about what she is singing.
"It's a language invented within the music, inherently, and the words mean more than I can say in English," she says. "The way I sing is not new; it's been around since the beginning of time, and it's something all children are born with. It's not unique to me, but for some reason I never lost the ability."
Gladiator Facts:
Emperor Commodus was not the sniveling sister-obsessed creep portrayed in the movie. A violent alcoholic, sure, but not so whiny. He ruled ably for over a decade rather than ineptly for a couple months. He also didn't kill his father, Marcus Aurelius, who actually died of chickenpox. And instead of being killed in the gladatorial arena, he was murdered in his bathtub.

Title: "Hat, stars and chicken-pox"
Description: The world of unborn children. Questions, imaginings and dreams... Children who are supposed to come into the world are asking us to help them find out about how things work in the world... We are their imaginings, just imaginings. Hands, feet, soul, thought, body? Reality? No, we're just some condensed light and thoughts. The creation of the new production was inspired by selected scenes from Materlinck's Blue Bird and the protagonist's reminiscences of their early childhood. In the fictional dialogues, the actors tell the unborn children about what it is like being born, what food is like, whether it is cold on earth, what a hat is for, why water that looks like pearls drips out of people's eyes, what it's like to eat cake and what smallpox are. Movement theater, the world of puppets, music that uses motifs of pop-music of the 1980s, jazz and folk songs all come together to create a picture of childhood in the late 1970s and early '80s in Central Europe.
