A man is going through a mental struggle, and as if that wasn't enough, he has to get through a violent storm as well. The storm however, is not a bad thing, as it gives him time to think. The lightning strikes his guitar, which gives him the "power" to think through his problems. It makes him progressively happier. Throughout the whole thing, the one thing he has is his friend, his only friend, his guitar, which gets him by, as the storm passes.
